Antimony sputtering target is a silver material with the chemical formula Sb. Antimony is a lustrous, grey-like metal.

It exists in nature mainly as the sulphide mineral tin antimony ore (Sb₂S₃).

Applications:

1. Flame retardant in various products, flame retardant compounds, paints, ceramic enamels, glass and pottery.

2. Antimony is also used in ball bearings and in alloys with lead to improve hardness and mechanical strength at concentrations of 1-20 per cent.

3. Melting or powder metallurgy technology, usually used for semiconductor field and R&D purpose.
