Application:

1. Used as a raw material for tantalum metal, tantalum alloys, tantalum carbides, tantalum-niobium complexes, optical glass and lithium tantalate crystals.

2. Because of its high band gap and dielectric constant, tantalum pent oxide has a variety of applications in electronics, especially in tantalum capacitors. They are used in automotive electronics, mobile phones and pagers, electronic circuits; thin-film components; and high-speed tools

3. Tantalum oxide is used as a charge capture layer in non-volatile memories. Tantalum oxide has applications in resistive switching memories.
