Fancymetal offers high purity (customizable) metal products, as well as oxides, product shapes, foils, plates, wires, tubes, rods, powders and a variety of custom shapes.

We also have other neodymium products:

Neodymium

Neodymium metal

Magnesium-neodymium alloy

Neodymium oxide

Neodymium sputtering target

Neodymium rods

Applications:

✔ The largest user of neodymium metal is neodymium iron boron permanent magnet materials

✔ Applied to non-ferrous metal materials. Adding 1.5-2.5% neodymium to magnesium or aluminum alloys can improve the high temperature performance, air tightness and corrosion resistance of the alloy, and is widely used as aerospace materials

✔ Neodymium-doped yttrium aluminum garnet produces short-wave laser beams, which are widely used in industry for welding and cutting of thin materials with a thickness of less than 10mm

✔ Neodymium is also used for coloring glass and ceramic materials and as an additive for rubber products

Chemical properties:

✔ The chemical properties are relatively active, slowly oxidizing in the air at room temperature, and can burn to generate neodymium oxide.

✔ It reacts slowly with cold water and quickly with hot water to generate neodymium hydroxide

✔ It can react violently with halogens.

✔ It can react with acids

Advantages:

✔ Strict quality control of raw materials and processes

✔ Fast delivery: 1-3 days after order confirmation

✔ Technical support: 24 hours via email

History:

In 1885, Austrian A.V. Welsbach discovered praseodymium and neodymium from a mixture of praseodymium and neodymium, which Mossander considered a "new element". One of them was named neodidymium, which was later simplified to neodymium, and the element symbol Nd is the element neodymium.
