Applications:
1. Permanent magnetic materials: praseodymium metal is one of the important raw materials for the production of permanent magnetic materials, which is used for the manufacture of high-performance permanent magnetic motors, generators, loudspeakers, etc.; and
2. Catalyst: Praseodymium metal can be used as a catalyst to promote the chemical reaction and improve the reaction efficiency;
3. glass ceramics: praseodymium metal can be added to glass ceramics to improve their optical, electrical and mechanical properties; and
4. metal materials: praseodymium metal can be added to aluminium alloy, magnesium alloy and other metal materials to improve their strength, corrosion resistance and high temperature performance.
5. Medical applications: Praseodymium metal has a certain degree of radioactivity, and can be used in medical imaging and radiation therapy.
6. New energy materials: Praseodymium metal can be used in the manufacture of solar cells, lithium-ion batteries and other new energy materials.
